Main objectives of the workshop:
The
main
focus
of
this
Czech-Norwegian
workshop
will
be
the
exchange
and
broadening
of
the
knowledge
about
planning
in
the
context
of
smart,
sustainable
and
resilient
cities.
Opportunities
for
cooperation
within
the
framework
of
European
grants
will
also
be
presented
and
explored
among
participants.
The
researchers
from
the
University
of
Stavanger
who
will
attend
tthe
workshop
will
address
circular
economy
in
the
Norwegian
building
sector,
wireless
communication
using
5G
for
the
future
smart
cities,
and
the
use
of
high-endurance drones for risk management and emergency response.
Invited
researchers
from
the
Czech
Technical
University
in
Prague
will
share
their
expertise
related
to
climate
change
adaptation
in
the
transport
infrastructure,
smart
approaches
at
the
railway-road
interface,
possibilities
of
evaluation
of
tansport
structures
In
cities
and
highway
systems
and
technologies.
Other
relevant
participants
from
local
enterprises,
innovation
cluster
on
smart
cities
and
municipalities
will
provide
additional
valuable
contribution
to the workshop.
The
workshop
is
highly
recommended
for
researchers
of
higher
education
institutions
(including
doctoral
students),
entrepreneurs,
representatives
of
municipalities,
city
councils
and
regional
authorities,
representatives
of
non-profit
organizations
and
civic
associations
engaged
in
the
field
of
smart
and sustainable cities and regions.
