Workshop in Prague

Second   Czech-Norwegian   workshop   on   Building   bilateral   research network towards resilient, smart and sustainable cities and regions Date: June 9-10, 2022. Venue:     Faculty     of     Transportation     Sciences,     Czech     Technical University   in   Prague,   FTS   CTU,   Konviktská   20,   4 ^th   floor,   meeting   rooms 403 and 404, 110 00, Prague, Czech Republic. Main objectives of the workshop: The   main   focus   of   this   Czech-Norwegian   workshop   will   be   the   exchange and   broadening   of   the   knowledge   about   planning   in   the   context   of   smart, sustainable   and   resilient   cities.   Opportunities   for   cooperation   within   the framework   of   European   grants   will   also   be   presented   and   explored   among participants. The   researchers   from   CTU   Prague   who   will   attend   the   workshop   will address   climate   change   mitigation   and   adaptation,   security   technologies and   engineering   and   sustainable   automated   vehicles   in   the   context   of sustainable and smart cities. Invited    researchers    from    the    University    of    Stavanger    will    share    their expertise   related   to   wireless   infrastructure   and   technologies,   co-creation approach   among   citizens   for   the   protection   of   urban   environment,   the applications   of   5G   wireless   and   its   relation   to   the   environmet,   smart   and carbon-neutral    urban    mobility    and    green    infrastructure    for    sustainable cities.  Other   relevant   participants   as   consultants,   entrepreneurs   and   mayors   will provide additional valuable contribution to the workshop. The   workshop   is   highly   recommended   for   researchers   of   higher   education institutions   (including   doctoral   students),   entrepreneurs,   representatives   of municipalities,   city   councils   and   regional   authorities,   representatives   of non-profit   organizations   and   civic   associations   engaged   in   the   field   of smart and sustainable cities and regions.
