The   international   workshop   on   policy   and   management   of   natural   resources   and   renewable energy    sources    (NARES    1)    will    take    place    in    the    premises    of    the    Faculty    of    International Relations of the University of Economics in Prague (FIR/UEP). The   University   of   Economics,   Prague   (Vysoká   škola   ekonomická   v   Praze   –   VŠE)   is   the   leading university   in   the   fields   of   management,   economics   and   political   science   in   the   Czech   Republic with   more   than   20   000   students   and   700   pedagogical   faculty   members.   VŠE   has   six   faculties offering   applicants   a   broad   spectrum   of   study   fields   and   branches   in   Bachelor’s,   Master’s   and Doctoral degree study programs.

A   set   of   seminars   which   to   be   characterized   as   a   second   international   workshop   on   policy   and management   of   natural   resources   and   renewable   energy   sources   (NARES   2)   will   be   held   in   the premises of the University of Akureyri (UNAK, Iceland) from May 19 to May 21, 2016. The   University   of   Akureyri   (Háskólinn   á   Akureyri)   is   located   in   North   Iceland   and   has   served Akureyri   and   its   rural   surrounding   since   1987.   The   University   has   built   a   reputation   for   academic excellence   and   good   industrial   relations.   Located   in   the   capital   of   North   Iceland,   Akureyri,   the University   has   been   instrumental   in   the   economic   growth   of   the   region   and   is   central   in   the planning for a future as a knowledge based society.
